New Delhi.Today i.e. on Friday, ISRO will launch the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV-D2) at 9.18 am a little later. The launch of this smallest rocket specially designed to release these special small satellites into space will be from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Know that this is the second edition of SSLV.
Under this plan, during a flight of about 15 minutes, this rocket will launch three satellites into space, including EOS-07 of ISRO, Janus-1 of US-based firm Antaris and also a satellite of AzaadiSAT-2, a Chennai-based space startup. the first flight was unsuccessful
Significantly, the first test flight of this rocket was unsuccessful on August 9 last year. Actually then there were some problems regarding the velocity while launching the rocket. After investigation by ISRO, it has been found that during the separation of the second stage, there was a vibration in the rocket, due to which the experiment could not be successful.
