The District Magistrate has given warning to nine officers and final warning to eight officers for negligence in disposal of complaints received on the IGRS portal. He said that even after this, departmental action will be taken if negligence is found.
Through the IGRS portal, the complainants have been provided with the facility to register their complaints online. A time period has also been prescribed for redressal of these complaints. In case the complaint is not redressed within the time period, the complaint is classified as defaulter. All the references of 17 departmental officers in the district have gone to C-category. Due to this the ranking of the district has also deteriorated.
DM Archana Verma reviewed the disposal of complaints regarding the decline in ranking. During the review, it was found that reports have been arbitrarily imposed by departmental officers in redressal of complaints. In this matter DM Archana Verma has issued warning and final warning to 17 departmental officers.
