hear the news

For the first time in the country, travelers will be able to pay the fare of religious pilgrimage in installments. It is going to start from next month on October 15. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is running Swadesh Darshan train to visit four Jyotirlingas. Although its fare is Rs 15150, but passengers can also pay it through EMI if they want. EMI is for minimum 3 months and maximum 36 months.

Actually, before Corona, IRCTC used to run Bharat Darshan train to visit religious places. There was a provision to give subsidy by the government, but after March 2022 the subsidy stopped. Because of this, Swadesh Darshan train was started in place of Bharat Darshan train. Due to the discontinuation of subsidy, its rent increased. Due to this IRCTC started getting less passengers and some trains also had to be cancelled. In view of this, for the first time, IRCTC has given the facility to the passengers to pay in EMI i.e. installments.

Recently, Amar Ujala had also published news related to paying rent from EMI. For the first time, IRCTC has given the option of taking the fare of the Swadesh Darshan train from EMI, putting its stamp on the news of Amar Ujala. Some can travel through the bank for three years by paying just Rs 536 per month in installment. It also has a minimum EMI of three months. Its rent is a little more than five thousand rupees.

Swadesh Yatra train will be available from Prayagraj Sangam station

This package of seven nights and eight days till 22 October includes breakfast, lunch and dinner during the journey, local travel by non-AC buses and accommodation in Dharamshalas etc. Online booking can be done from IRCTC website.
