After the death of a pregnant woman in KB Hospital in Uruva Bazar area of ​​Gorakhpur district, the investigation of illegal hospitals was started. When the Health Department team started the investigation on Wednesday, many nursing homes and medicine shops ran away after hanging the lock. During this, two hospitals were sealed after deficiencies were found. The team of the department has issued notices to 14 clinics and hospitals found closed.

According to information, the negligence of the nursing home had come to the fore in the death of the pregnant woman in Uruva. On investigation it was found that the hospital is not registered. After which once again the Health Department was tainted by running an illegal hospital. On Wednesday, on the instructions of the CMO, the team led by Additional CMO Dr. NL Kushwaha, Deputy CMO Dr. Anil Kumar Singh reached Uruva. In-charge Medical Officer Dr. JP Tiwari and Health Education Officer VK Barnwal were also present in the team. The team carried out investigations at Uruva, Malhanpar and Dhuriapar.

A clinic was found in Malhanpar in the name of Dr. Sachin Verma. Doctors were not present here. The employees were distributing medicines indiscriminately. Some patients were also found waiting for the doctor. This clinic was unregistered. It was sealed. Kusumavati Hospital found unregistered in Uruva was sealed.

A three-member team has been formed to probe the death.

The CMO has constituted a team of three members to investigate the case of maternal death at KB Hospital in the town. On Wednesday, the team met the family members of the victims. Along with the written statement from the mother-in-law of the mother-in-law, took information about the incident. It is being told that the accused Dr. Manish Pandey is absconding since the incident.
