The process of new ration application was going on closed on the e-district portal for about a month. Recently, Amar Ujala had prominently published the news regarding this. Now once again the process of ration card application has been started again. Will be able to apply for ration card from the needy.
On behalf of the government, free food grains are distributed every month to the economically weak and needy in Hathras. For this a ration card has to be made. Due to the closure of the e-district portal in the district for the last one month, the applicants were not able to apply for making new ration cards.
Amar Ujala had prominently published the case. After this, cognizance of the matter was taken by the department. The concerned executive institutions and higher officials were informed about the application process not going on. Now the process of online application for ration card has started again on the e-district portal. The needy can apply online through the nearest public service center. DSO Dhruvraj Yadav said that the process of online ration card application has become smooth.
