New Delhi : Digital payment has gained a lot of momentum across the country. Digital payment has become very convenient for the people. Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) on 8 November 2016 demonetized 500 and 1000 rupee notes. Instead, new notes of Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 were issued. After which 2,000 notes were seen in the market a lot and at that time everyone wanted to get 2,000 notes.
New Rs 2,000 notes not being printed for three years
Now a big thing is coming out about the Rs 2,000 note. Actually, the Reserve Bank of India i.e. RBI has told a big thing about this. According to RBI, not a single note of Rs 2,000 has been printed for the last three years. Yes, you heard it right. Due to which the circulation of Rs 2,000 note has become very work. Or rather, its circulation is almost nil.
