Allahabad High Court has directed North Central Railway Prayagraj to take appropriate decision within three months in the matter of non-fulfillment of the responsibility of supervision of other members by the member appointed in the dependent quota. The court has said that if there is a situation of not fulfilling the interests of all the dependents, then it can also withdraw the appointment of the dependent opposition.
The petitioners said that the appointment was given to the opposition on the assurance that she would also look after the petitioners. But she is not keeping her promise. On which the court has given this order. Justice Pankaj Bhatia has given this order while disposing of the petition of Sudha Sharma and others of Prayagraj.
The petitioners submitted that his father was a railway employee. Due to death in service, the opposition was appointed in the dependent quota. The petitioner is old. The opposition refused to take care of him. The court said that the dependent is appointed for the benefit of the heirs. So that, to overcome the sudden calamity. The court has directed the petitioners to write their complaint to the Railway Officer and he shall take a decision after considering their grievances.
