Holi festival is being celebrated across the country today. Everyone is dancing with gaiety and happiness in this festival of colors. They are applying color to each other.
People played Holi with great pomp and show during the Holi festival at Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. The ghats of Varanasi became colorful since morning.
People were seen swinging in singing Holi songs with Dholak-Manjeera. Apart from the people of Banaras, foreigners were also seen drenched in colours. Foreign tourists said – It was fun playing Holi in Banaras.
People played Holi fiercely in Kashi Vishwanath temple too. Varanasi commissioner and minister Ravindra Jaiswal played Holi with flowers and colors at Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Some people celebrated the festival of Holi yesterday, while some people are celebrating it today. People are seen playing Holi at Assi Ghat.
