Holika Dahan will be held at about 2770 places in Aligarh district. Out of which total 546 places in the city and 2224 places in the rural area are included. 67 places in the city and countryside have been marked as hypersensitive and 105 places as sensitive.
Police is taking special vigilance to save Holi from getting discoloured. Especially driving at high speed after drinking alcohol can be heavy. The police will take notice of such hoardings by erecting barriers. If someone is caught driving a vehicle after drinking alcohol, strict action will be taken against him. SP City Kuldeep Singh Gunawat and ADM City Meenu Rana inspected various Holika Dahan sites on foot on Monday. He informed that the city has been divided into nine sectors for Holi and Shab-e-Barat. Where police and administrative officers have been deployed in two shifts. Who will keep a close watch on every incident.
He told that the surveillance team will be ready from the city to the countryside. Three drone cameras in the city will be ready to capture every activity of hooligans. CCTV cameras will keep a close watch on hoodlums and trouble makers at 11 places in the city including Sabzi Mandi Chauraha, Uparkot, Phool Chauraha, Railway Road, Dubey Padav, Hathras Adda, Company Bagh, Rasalganj Chauraha, Gular Road etc. Additional police force will be on patrol in the concerned police station areas in the city and the countryside. QRT, UP 112 will also remain operational.
