The Allahabad High Court has granted conditional bail to murder accused Anees alias Mithai. The court has said that the medical evidence is contradictory regarding death. Shot on 27 May 2021 and died on 8 September 2021. The medical report states cardiac arrest, but the post-mortem report states pre-mortem injuries as the cause of death.
While not giving any opinion on merit, the court has directed to release on personal bond and two sureties. This order was given by Justice Rajeev Mishra while hearing the bail application of Anees alias Mithai. In the case, an FIR was lodged at Karimuddinpur police station in Ghazipur on charges of murderous attack on the four named accused. Later he had died. The petitioner is in jail since July 5, 2021.
