The Allahabad High Court has ordered to dispose of the claim of compassionate appointment of Meerut petitioner Aruna in two months. The court has said that CMO Meerut should settle the claim within two months of receiving the copy of the order. Justice Vikram D. Chauhan has given this order while hearing Aruna’s petition. Advocate Yogendra Pal Singh argued on behalf of the petitioner.

Argued that the petitioner is the married daughter of the deceased. He claimed compassionate appointment after his father’s death but was rejected by CMO Meerut. Told. A married daughter cannot make this claim whereas, in the case of Vimla Srivastava, the Supreme Court has made a provision to give the benefit of compassionate appointment to the married daughter as well. Therefore, the petitioner is also entitled to get benefits under this arrangement. The court directed to settle the claim of CMO Meerut as per the order given by the Supreme Court in the Vimla Srivastava case.
