Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that collective efforts will have to be made to achieve the target of health facilities till the last person. We have made 1.35 lakh health and wellness centers so far. By the end of December this number will be 1.5 lakh. In the coming time, there is a plan to connect the Medical College with the Health and Wellness Center. Our target is to make the country TB free India by 2025.

Addressing the two-day Community Health Officers Conference organized at Rudraksh Convention Center on the occasion of World Universal Health Coverage Day on Saturday, Union Health Minister Dr. Mandaviya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes that when we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence So it is necessary to make the country healthy.

Emphasizing that the world should advise us, the Health and Family Welfare Minister said that the time has passed. Today India is giving advice to the world and the world is following India.

He told that when I met Bill Gates at a meeting in Davos, he praised India’s Covid management. In times of crisis like Covid, our health workers discharged their duties honestly by risking their lives. The aim of the government is to make health services accessible to the common man. During this, apart from Minister of State for Independent Charge Ravindra Jaiswal, Ayush Dr. Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, there were Health Ministers and officers of Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh.

The Union Health Minister said that the way the ‘Health Army’ worked during the Corona period, it is expected that it will create history by giving excellent results for universal health coverage. He said that only a healthy citizen makes a healthy society and a healthy society makes a healthy country. Keeping this in mind, for the first time in the country, work was started by linking health with development.

For this, efforts are also underway to open new medical colleges in the country. It is also an effort that medical students join such health and wellness centers to provide their services. It is working for remote areas. Today, more than four lakh people are taking advantage of this service everyday through the e-Sanjeevani platform in the country. Today people from every sector of the society are coming forward to make India TB free. According to the data recorded on the Nikshay portal, more than 44 thousand tuberculosis patients have been adopted so far by public representatives, representatives associated with non-governmental organizations, firms and organizations.

Governor Anandi Ben Patel said that India believes in the spirit of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramaya’ which means world welfare. Keeping this spirit in mind, the Central Government has decided to realize the purpose of Antyodaya with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas and to ensure that the person sitting at the last end of the society gets the benefit of health services. Many steps have been taken for this.

The Governor said that Uttar Pradesh is providing better health facilities through Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centers (AB-HWCs). Said that we all have to achieve the objective of Universal Health Care Coverage Day together. That is why this year the theme of ‘Universal Health Coverage Day’ has been ‘Build the World We Want a Healthy Future for All’. We all have to work unitedly to fulfill the Prime Minister’s goal of making India TB free by 2025.

The Governor said that the help of universities and colleges will have to be taken for the blood donation camp. He suggested that in all the health and wellness centers being established, there must be arrangements for treatment of all kinds of diseases of women and adolescent girls. Universal health is a huge priority for India.
