Farmers will now be able to take online license for soil mining and transportation for their personal use. For permission, an application has to be made on the portal Mine Mitra of Directorate of Geology and Mining.
DM Archana Verma told that to apply, applicant’s name, address, mobile number, e-mail ID, quantity of ordinary soil, along with Khatauni and map, landowner’s consent, purpose of mining, complete details of the applied mining area, district, It will be mandatory to upload Tehsil, village, gata number, total area, type of vehicle to be transported and other necessary details.
On one application, maximum 100 cubic meters, about 35 tractor-trolley soil will be allowed for a maximum of 15 days and there will be compulsion to do soil mining by manual method. Registration of soil mining, transportation, permission can be obtained by the applicants themselves from the portal.
