The Bar Association Secretary on Monday handed over a memorandum to the Administrative Judge High Court Prayagraj regarding the appointment of ADJ Court for release of funds for the construction of the building of External Court, Sadabad.
Bar Secretary Anil Kumar Dixit says that the Munsif Court was established in 1987 in the outer court Sadabad, at that time Sadabad was a part of Mathura district. Later Sadabad was included in the newly created district Hathras. In 2013, 25 bighas of land was purchased for the construction of the new building of the outer court.
Due to the increasing load on the courts, the ACJM Court was established. Additional Additional Magistrate was posted. There was a shortage regarding the residence of the three courts, offices, staff quarters and judges, so as per the policy of the government, the state government had issued a budget to buy land.
After this no fund was released by the government for the construction of boundary wall and court building. Due to this the court building could not be constructed till date. The Bar Association has been agitating for many years in a peaceful manner for the demand of ADJ Court in the Outer Court, Sadabad. Peaceful Protest Day is observed every Monday.
