In the second phase, 833 candidates from 61 political parties are contesting for 93 seats.
– Including BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) contesting elections for the first time in the state.
According to the State Election Commission, only 285 independent candidates contested.

Lucknow : Today, on Monday, Potnivdanuk will be held for one Lok Sabha and both Vidhan Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
