The foundation stone of the Greenfield Expressway will be laid on February 27 to strengthen connectivity from Ballia to Lucknow, Delhi and Bihar. Union Surface and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay its foundation stone. During this, he will stay in Ballia district for about one and a half hours. His minute to minute program has been received by the district administration. After which the preparations are being finalized.
The Union Minister will reach Chitbadgaon at 11.40 am by helicopter from Varanasi airport. Will address the first public meeting here. Then will lay the foundation stone for the Greenfield Expressway. After this, the helicopter will leave for Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can also attend the function organized in Chitbadgaon.
Traveling to Patna, Lucknow, Delhi will be easy
It is expected that the central government would like to inaugurate it before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The construction work has picked up speed to connect the expressway with Bihar. While the work on the new bridge being constructed on the Ganga between Bharauli-Buxar is in full swing, the construction of the link road has started near the old bridge.
