Apart from Neelam, who went to jail, there was no evidence of involvement of anyone else in the murder of husband and step-sons in Sahbazganj of Gorakhpur district. After checking the mobile phone number, it became clear that at eight o’clock on the night of the murder, he had talked only at his maternal home. Due to lack of evidence, the police is now preparing to close the file.
However, the relatives are still claiming to have three mobile phones, but are not able to give information about the numbers. The police has made it clear that only if the relatives give a number, the investigation will be done. The incident has been exposed.
According to the information, second wife Neelam has been arrested in the murder of Chaat seller Awadhesh Gupta and his sons Aarav and Aryan. Police claim that it was Neelam who killed Awadhesh because of keeping a wrong eye on the daughter and then also killed the stepsons in the greed of property.
The police exposed the incident and sent the accused Neelam to jail, but after raising questions from the family, the police continued the investigation closely. Neelam’s daughter was interrogated as well as the CDR of the mobile phone number was examined. Based on the investigation, the police claim that no one else was involved.
Family said, Neelam had three phones
The police is preparing to close the incident file, but the family members are still not ready to believe that Neelam alone had committed all the three murders. He says that Neelam used three mobile phones. While the police have recovered only a mobile phone. Relatives say that unknown people kept coming to Neelam’s house.
SP North Manoj Awasthi said that the police has exposed the murder and sent the accused woman to jail. The investigation was continued on the basis of the family’s allegation, but no evidence of involvement of anyone else has been found from the CDR and other investigative sources.
