A case of molestation, vandalism and looting has come to light after entering a diagnostic center in Adarsh ​​Nagar Singhadia of Engineering College Chowki area of ​​Cantt area of ​​Gorakhpur district. The Cantt Police has registered a case against two named and 20 unknown people for insurrection, assault, molestation, loot and vandalism in the late night of Monday i.e. 28 November, on the Tahrir of the owner of the diagnostic center, Anand Singh.

According to Tahrir registered in the FIR, Anand Singh, a resident of Gayatri Nagar, runs Samadhi Diagnostic Center at Singhadia Adarsh ​​Nagar in Cantt area. A 26-year-old girl named Nishu works as an employee at his centre. It is alleged that on the afternoon of November 27, 2022, a youth named Jatin and Vashim Akhtar, residents of Gayatri Nagar, entered the diagnostic center along with their 20 companions.

Both started flirting with the female employee. Somehow the female employee saved her dignity by locking herself in another room. After this, both the youths started hitting the operator Anand Singh with a weapon in their hand, due to which he got hurt in his eye. Later, the said people broke the computer, laptop and temple kept in the centre.

While leaving, Anand Singh’s Android mobile phone and also took Rs 2 lakh cash from the cash counter and threatened to hand over the girl to him otherwise he would not be able to run the centre. Although the center has a CCTV camera installed, but due to malfunctioning, the police could not get the footage.

In this regard, Cantt Inspector Shashibhushan Rai said that a case has been registered on the basis of Tahrir. the matter is being investigated. Soon the accused will be arrested.
