OPD will start from February 15 in Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University. It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Before the inauguration of the Chief Minister, Vice-Chancellor Dr. AK Singh has reviewed the preparations.
Ayush University is being constructed at Pipri in Bhathat. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inspected the construction work. The organization doing the work was instructed to complete the construction work as soon as possible, so that the OPD could start at the earliest. But, even after this, the organization could not show speed in the work.
This is the reason why the date of the opening ceremony to be held in the new year was extended. Vice-Chancellor Dr. AK Singh said that the institution has handed over the construction of the building for running the OPD in the month of January. Time was sought from the Chief Minister for the inauguration of the OPD, on which time has been received from the Chief Minister’s Office for the inauguration on February 15. The OPD will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. Told that earlier it was to be inaugurated on February 1, but due to some reasons the program was postponed.
OPD will run for these departments
The Vice-Chancellor informed that first OPDs of Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy will start in Ayush University. After this OPD will be expanded gradually. In the second phase OPD of Yoga and Naturopathy will be started. It was told that a proposal was also sent to the government for the appointment of doctors in the university, for which permission has also been received.
