Now Gorakhpur will be seen written on the locomotives of the railways. Railway administration has started this. Gorakhpur will be written on all the engines that come for repair in the electric loco shed. It has been started. With this, it will be known where the engine is and it will be easy for the railways to calculate the engine.
Even after being the headquarters of the North Eastern Railway, there was no hashtag on the engines here. Whereas, the name of Gonda is written on the engines being repaired at Gonda Junction. Engines of trains going from Lucknow to Chhapra are being repaired at Gorakhpur Electric Loco Shed.
Presently 47 electric locomotives come to the loco shed for repairs. This number is going to increase in the coming days. A separate shop is being prepared for this.
Recently, the officials suggested that the name of Gorakhpur should be written on the locomotives here as well. From this, on going to another zone, it will be known where the engine is.
