Such people, who have not yet got the corona vaccine, can get vaccinated free of cost by reaching the special camps organized at government hospitals and health centers from January 21 to 31. For this, the district has got three thousand vials of vaccine. About thirty thousand people will be vaccinated in this.
To prevent corona infection, appeals have been made many times so far to vaccinate more and more people. On the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, free preventive dose was also given to the people for 75 days from 15th July. After this, the vaccine was not being installed in government hospitals. In some selected private hospitals, arrangements were made to get vaccinated by charging a fixed fee, but here also the number was very less. Meanwhile, people have got the first and second dose somehow, but there are about 40 percent people in the district who have not taken the preventive dose till now. Now the health department has received 30100 vaccines of Covishield from the government level on Thursday. Along with this, under a special campaign from January 21 to 31, free vaccination will be given at government hospitals as well as health centers in urban and rural areas.
