In Azamgarh, the police on Tuesday exposed the case of the body of a youth found buried in mud on the banks of a canal in Magpur Amraula village of Mubarakpur police station area. The young man was killed by hitting him with a shovel. The incident was executed by the girlfriend of the deceased with the help of her ex-boyfriend. Along with the recovery of the top murder, the police have also arrested both the accused.
Ram (22) son Harinath, a resident of Chichhori village under Bilariaganj police station area, had left home at 6 am on February 2 and then went missing. On February 3, the relatives lodged a missing complaint at the Bilariaganj police station after their own investigation. On February 5, villagers who were grazing goats near a canal in Magapur village saw a dead body buried in the mud. On information, the police reached and after getting the body out, got involved in the exercise of identification. Within a short time, the dead body was identified as Ram’s son Harinath resident of Chichhori police station, Bilariaganj. After this, a murder case was also registered on the father’s Tahrir. Police engaged several teams in the investigation. Within 72 hours, the police disclosed the murder case on Tuesday. SP Rural Rahul Rusia said that the love affair of the deceased with Magapur village resident Rubina’s daughter Sukhu was going on for a long time. When Rubina pressured Ram to marry, he refused. Angered by this, Rubina, with the help of her ex-boyfriend Ravindra Kumar, a resident of Baghidad, killed Ram by hitting him with a shovel and then buried the body in the mud near the canal. The police have arrested both the accused and the shovel used in the murder has also been recovered at their instance. During interrogation, Rubina has accepted the fact of carrying out the incident.
