New Delhi. Today, ahead of the upcoming Army Day on January 15, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has addressed the annual press conference in the capital Delhi.
In his address today, the Army Chief called the situation on the northern border under complete control. He said that continuous talks are being held at the military and diplomatic level from the scene. Presently the situation here is absolutely under control. Along with this, he clearly said that the Indian Army is fully prepared from its side to deal with every difficulty and every situation.

Speaking further today General Manoj Pandey said that the situation on the northern borders is stable but unpredictable. We have been able to resolve five out of the seven issues. We have continued to talk both at the military and diplomatic levels. We have adequate reserves to meet any contingency.
On Jammu and Kashmir, he said that, as far as the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, the ceasefire in February 2021 is going well, but cross-border support to terrorism and terror infrastructure still persists. Is.
Along with this, on the Joshimath landslide, the Army Chief said today that, we have temporarily shifted our jawans. If required, we will permanently station our jawans in Auli. There are some cracks on the Joshimath to Mana road which BRO is repairing. This has not affected our operational readiness.

He further said, “As far as providing help to the local people is concerned, we have given our hospitals, helipads etc. to the civil administration so that they can temporarily shift the people.”
