Pimpri: Traffic changes have been made between Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities from January 14 to 18 due to the G-20 Council meetings. Vehicles of all important persons will mainly pass through Pune University area from 14th to 18th January and all roads in Pune University area should be open for traffic. In view of this, heavy traffic coming towards Pune Vidyapeeth Chowk has been closed from January 14 to 18, while the traffic of Bavdhan, Hinjewadi, Wakad, Dehurod, Sangvi traffic under Pimpri-Chinchwad traffic department has been changed. There is heavy traffic from Rajiv Gandhi Bridge at Pune Vidyapeeth Chowk, Aundh and Radha Chowk on Mumbai Bangalore Highway NH-48 as well as Balewadi, Sus Road, Pasan. That’s why there will be major changes in the traffic here. Due to this, there is a possibility of traffic jam and disruption of vehicles. To avoid this traffic jam and for smooth and hassle-free movement of people, heavy traffic coming towards Pune Vidyapeeth Chowk has been closed from 14th to 18th January under Pune Police.

At the same time, changes have been made in the traffic of Bavdhan, Hinjewadi, Wakad, Dehurod, Sangvi traffic department under Pimpri-Chinchwad police.
