- GM visits Lahoti today, will take stock of preparations
Nagpur, The Central Railway Administration is preparing to lay the foundation stone for the re-development plan of Nagpur and Ajni station by the hands of Prime Minister Modi. Although the proposal sent by the Railways has not yet been approved by the PMO office, but the railway officials have already started preparing for it.
In this connection, GM of Central Railway Anil Kumar Lahoti is visiting Nagpur on Tuesday. They will come to Nagpur in the morning itself. After inspecting the passenger facilities available at the station, will also talk to the officers of the division. During this, top officials of all departments will be present with him. After this, GM will leave for Mumbai in the evening.
In fact, PM Modi is coming to Nagpur on Sunday, December 11 to inaugurate the Samridhi Mahamarg. In such a situation, the Central Railway officials want that the opening ceremony of the re-development work of Nagpur and Ajni stations should be done by PM Modi. This is an ambitious project of the Railways. Apart from this, plans are also being made to inaugurate the third line, fourth line and 12,000 horse power locoshed. At present, the approval of the program is being awaited from the PMO office. The situation is expected to clear in 2-3 days.
Confusion about Vande Bharat train
Railway Board has given green signal to run Vande Bharat train between Bilaspur to Nagpur. In such a situation, preparations are also being made to inaugurate the Vande Bharat train on this route by PM Modi. In this regard, a proposal has been prepared and sent by the South-East-Central Railway. However, till now this program has also not been approved by the PMO office. Therefore, there is confusion about its inauguration site. Due to the visit of PM Modi, it is being speculated that the inauguration ceremony of this train can be organized in Nagpur.
