UP News: An FIR has been registered against the students protesting against the fee hike in Allahabad Central University. A case has been registered against him under serious sections of IPC. An FIR has been lodged against 15 nominated and around 100 non-nominated students in the case. A case has been registered in Colonelganj Kotwali on the complaint of Professor Harsh Kumar, Chief Proctor of the University.
Case registered on September 12 incident
The students are accused of taking out processions, locking up and disturbing classes on the campus on September 12. 15 students including Ajay Yadav Samrat, Akhilesh Yadav, Satyam Kushwaha, Ayush Priyadarshi, Manjit Patel have been nominated. However, no arrest has been made in this case yet. Police officers claim that further action will be taken after investigation. Students are continuously agitating against the fee hike in the university. The university has increased the fees for most courses by up to four times.

Fee hiked after more than 100 years
Allahabad University has increased the fees after 112 years. However, despite this, students are protesting against increasing the fees. In fact, the university may have increased the fees after more than 100 years, but this increase is four times due to which the students are angry. Despite the protest of the students, the university approved it. The increased fee will be applicable from the current session 2022-23 only. This decision has been declared valid by the Finance Committee and Academic Council of the University. University students have been protesting since August 30. The students took out a torch procession somewhere and sat on a fast, some of whom had to be taken to the hospital when their condition deteriorated.
