If you want to sow yellow mustard, then you can sow Pitambari, Narendra Rai 8501. If a farmer wants to sow hybrid seeds, then many varieties are available in the market. The farmers who had sowed Pioneer 45S46 last year in Gorakhpur, had produced excellent results. One hectare yielded more than 25 quintals.

Dr. Tomar, President and Scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra told that 50 kg DAP 10 kg Sulfur should be used in one acre field for sowing of normal mustard. 100 kg urea should be used from beginning to end. Use sulphur, dye at the time of sowing, while use urea in standing crop. Farmers can use single super phosphate if they want. But its quantity will be more. Use three bags of super phosphate in one acre of field. It does not have nitrogen content, so use a sack of urea along with it.

Seed treatment is essential before sowing.
Agricultural scientist Tomar told that before sowing, farmers must purify mustard seeds. For this, mix Metalaxyl in one and a half grams per kg of seed. Then sow. Also, after 20 days, the dense plants should be uprooted and the distance from plant to plant should be made 20 cm. This will result in higher yields.
