Allahabad High Court has refused to interfere with the petitions filed for the demand of allotment of quality point marks and priority district after the completion of 68500 assistant teacher process of 2018. The court has said that if there is interference, there will be a flood of petitions and the government will not be able to complete the process of allotting the district.

However, the court has given permission to the petitioners to make a representation to the Secretary Basic Education Council Prayagraj in three weeks and directed the secretary to take a decision by allotting the district at the end of the session so that the education of the children is not affected. Justice Ashutosh Srivastava has given this order while dismissing the petitions of 42 others including Hina Islam of Prayagraj.

The petitioners said that they had given preference to Prayagraj, Kaushambi and Sant Ravidas Nagar districts. He has been allotted Sonbhadra district despite getting more marks. Whereas those getting less marks have been posted in the home district.
