Special Representative, New Delhi : After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s vice-presidential and Rajya Sabha Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhar’s indirect but overt comments, the Congress on Friday made a strong verbal hue and cry on Dhankhar. ‘The Speaker of the State Assembly is the ‘punch and referee’ for all, but he should not become the ‘cheer leader’ of the ruling party,’ Congress Secretary Jairam Ramesh criticized him in such sharp words. A person holding an eventful position should be free from prejudice and bias towards any side, said Ramesh.
