Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has targeted the SP and other major parties on the issue of OBC reservation in the municipal elections. He said, SP President Akhilesh Yadav is not able to see the interest of backward people other than his family. I am also from backward class but they are not able to see me moving forward. Despite the government’s clarification, he is making false statements about the High Court’s order.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who came to Prayagraj on Wednesday, said, ‘I am making it clear once again on behalf of the government and the BJP that there will be no municipal elections without OBC reservation. Necessary steps are being taken for this. The Deputy Chief Minister said that OBC reservation will be determined by conducting a survey in accordance with the order of the court. After this there will be an election. He also put the role of leaders of other parties in the dock for their statements in this matter. He surrounded the SP even after speaking wrong words for the BJP leaders. Keshav said that this party has been in power. The leaders of such a party should show seriousness.
