New Delhi: A terrible incident has come to the fore in the country’s capital Delhi. A 17-year-old schoolgirl was attacked with acid in Dwarka area here. Taking action, the police have arrested all the three accused in the case. This information has been given by DCP M Harshvardhan.

According to the information received, a 17-year-old girl, who came out of the house to go to school on Wednesday (December 14) morning, was thrown acid on a bike by two masked men in Mohan Garden area of ​​Uttam Nagar in West Delhi, after which she was in a critical condition. Admitted to Safdarjung Hospital. A doctor at Safdarjung Hospital said, “Her (victim’s) face is 7-8 per cent burnt and her eyes are also affected. He has been kept in the ICU and his condition is stable.”

Special CP Sagarpreet Hooda told that two boys threw acid on a girl student in Delhi’s Mohan Garden police station area. Sachin Arora and Harshit, the main accused in the case, have been arrested earlier. At the same time, his co-accused Virendra Singh has also been arrested. Hooda told that Virender was at another place with Sachin’s mobile so that if the investigation is done, the police would feel that Sachin’s location is somewhere else. Police said that the accused had bought the acid from Flipkart.

Delhi Police also informed that many of the accused have been identified through CCTV footage and arrested. DCP M Harshvardhan said that the accused might have done Reiki of the victim’s house. He also told that the two bike-borne accused lived near the victim’s house.

He wrote, “The Lt Governor spoke to the Commissioner of Police regarding the unfortunate incident of acid attack at Dwarka Mor today and sought a detailed report on the incident. The report has also asked to explain how acid was procured despite a ban on its sale in the city.

The student’s uncle told that she was going with her sister when she was attacked with acid. The victim’s uncle also said that when she ran to nearby shops for help when she was in excruciating pain, a shopkeeper poured milk on her face to reduce the pain.
