On Friday night, the body of 27-year-old Sarita from Bihar was found hanging from the fan in a hotel room in Rohan Enclave Dasna of Wave City police station area. Sarita had come and stayed at the hotel three days back. On Friday evening, when no sound came from the room, the hotel staff knocked on the door of the room, but the suspicion deepened when there was no movement. After this informed the police. When the police reached the spot, opened the door by cutting it with a cutter, Sarita’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan. No suicide note has been recovered from the room.
Sarita’s wife Mangesh, a resident of Motihari, Bihar, had come from Bihar itself on January 17 to get bail for brother Chandan, who was lodged in Dasna Jail. She had been staying at the hotel since meeting him. Sarita’s brother was in jail since 20 October 2020 in connection with rape and murder from Kavinagar police station. He came out on bail on Friday, 20 January 2023. Sarita’s brother came out of jail at around 6 pm on Friday evening and reached the hotel when he came to know that his sister had committed suicide.
