According to the water supply to the city from Barvi dam, jobs have been given to the members of project affected families through lottery system in Thane, Navi Mumbai, Mira Bhayander, Kalyan-Dombivali, Ulhasnagar and Ambernath municipalities of the district. Recently, 16 project affected people in Ambernath Municipality have been included in the service of the Municipal Corporation by giving them appointment letters. About 24 project affected people have been given jobs in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation four months back. An official said that but for the first few months these employees were kept sitting and later were appointed in the department. Finally according to their educational qualification those victims have been appointed on the posts of clerk as well as constable.
Tehsildars had given notice against the employees
Of these, a lot of indifference is being shown by the affected people towards their duty. Also, if the officer gives the responsibility of some work, then he does not listen to them at all. An officer said that on saying more, the employees say that we are doing this work only on the behest of our family and some employees are telling the officers that we should not be allowed to do the work of lifting files and giving water to the constable. Used to be. It is also being said that when some of these employees were given the responsibility of BLO work, the tehsildars had given notice against the refusing employees. Some officials are quietly saying that they have become frustrated with the project-affected employees in a short period of time. That’s why some officers will go directly to the commissioner to take action against the employees who are negligent in duty.
