Nagpur. In MIDC police station area, thieves broke into a house in broad daylight and made off with jewellery. Police have registered a case on the complaint of Abhishek Surendra Pandey (37), resident of Narmadanagar, Wanadongri. Abhishek’s younger brother’s birthday was on Friday. The whole family made a plan to visit the Koradi temple.
During 10.30 am, the Pandey family went to Koradi after locking the house. Meanwhile, the thieves entered inside by breaking the lock of the main gate and bedroom door. The jewelry worth Rs 1.92 lakh kept in the cupboard was cleared. The theft came to light when the Pandey family returned home around 4.30 pm. The theft in the house in broad daylight created panic in the campus. MIDC police have started investigation by registering a case against the unknown accused.
