Demolition action on illegal construction

Illegal construction of houses of Iftikhar Ahmed and Rafiqusmad, two city-based contractors who cooperated with Mafia Mukhtar Ansari, lodged in Mandal Jail in Banda district, were razed to the ground. During the action, officers of the district administration and police department were present with heavy force. The action started at around 10:47 am and went on till 12:50 pm.
During this, there was a stir among the residents of the locality. The police department had issued a press note on its social media group at 9.29 am regarding demolition of illegal construction of houses of two residents of the city. In this, both were claimed to have supported and protected Mukhtar Ansari. City Magistrate Rajesh Kumar, Tehsil Sadar SDM Surbhi Sharma, CO Gavendra Pal, Kotwal Shyam Babu Shukla and police of several police stations gathered at the police post located at Babulal Square in the city at 10 am.
