The security of the Taj Mahal has come to the fore on Wednesday morning. A car reached the Taj East Gate by breaking the security cordon of the highly sensitive Yellow Zone. When the police came to know about this, there was panic. The policemen chased and stopped the car. Two people including the car driver have been arrested. they are being interrogated. A video of a car going towards Taj East Gate in Yellow Zone has also surfaced, in which two policemen are seen chasing the car with bullet bikes.
The security of the Taj is divided into two zones
The security system of Taj Mahal is divided into Red Zone and Yellow Zone. The memorial complex comes in the Red Zone. The security system of the Red Zone is handled by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The area of 500 meters circumference of the Taj comes in the Yellow Zone. Its in the hands of the police. There are two security barriers in the Yellow Zone from Shilpgram to Taj East Gate.
Car of second district number
One Hotel Amar Vilas and the other Hotel are near Taj Khema. Policemen are stationed here. On Wednesday morning, breaking the security circle of the Yellow Zone, the white colored car reached near the Taj East Gate. On being informed, the policemen chased the car. The car was stopped before the east gate. The police have arrested the car driver and another youth. The car is from another district. Both the occupants of the car are being questioned. Please note that only pass holder vehicles are allowed in the Yellow Zone.
