If you use Instagram and Facebook and your account is verified or want to get your account verified, then now you will have to pay money here as well. Facebook is testing paid verification for $11.99 (Rs 991.65) per month for web and $14.99 (Rs 1,239.77) per month for mobile.
Will start in these countries first
According to the information, the company is first rolling out this feature in Australia and New Zealand. After which it will be implemented in other countries soon. That is, now along with Twitter, you will have to charge for having a verified account for Facebook and Instagram as well.
Please tell that this decision has been taken by Meta’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. However, the final decision is still awaited as to when it will be applicable in which countries and how many charges will have to be paid for it.
