The 89th birthday of former governor and senior BJP leader Keshari Nath Tripathi was celebrated on Thursday. On this occasion, cabinet minister Surya Pratap Shahi also reached from Lucknow to wish him a happy birthday. He also hugged the former governor after touching his feet at a guest house in Bairhna. In the event organized by the birthday celebration organizing committee, Surya Pratap Shahi also remembered Keshari Nath’s tenure as the Speaker of the Assembly. Said that his ability, perseverance, popularity and work done for the party are remembered by the people even today.
On this occasion, former Governor Keshari Nath also remembered the old days. He said that since 1953, I started politics from Bharatiya Jana Sangh era, now the same party has become Bharatiya Janata Party.
