Principal Scientist, Amrita School of Biotechnology, Kerala, Prof. Prasath Survajhala told that the problem of prostate cancer has increased rapidly among vegetarians. Prof. came to participate in the program organized in BHU. Survajhala said 80 samples were taken for prostate cancer in vegetarians. In this, prostate cancer has been found in 95 percent of the people. Cancer can also be genetic.
If the mother has breast cancer, then it can also happen to the child. If it is in the father, it can be transmitted through the germ line in the next generation. This gene has been identified. The history of prostate cancer in India is 10 thousand years old. Mutations are also taking place in this.
Prostate cancer kit will be tested
Prostate complaints are found in men after the age of 52 years. Due to shame and hesitation, people do not talk about it and do not get tested in time. Efforts are underway that people can test themselves for prostate cancer through their urine while sitting at home.
