Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started from Kanyakumari on September 7, entered UP on January 3 under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Passing through Ghaziabad’s Loni and Baghpat, the yatra reached Alam town in the district on Wednesday evening.
Rahul Gandhi joined the yatra on Thursday morning. Walking about 11 kilometers with the workers, reached Unchagaon in Kairana area in full enthusiasm.
After resting there for about five hours, left for Haryana. Rahul Gandhi has covered a distance of about 83 kilometers in UP. On the other hand, there was a lot of enthusiasm among the people of Shamli district and a large number of people gathered.
During this, Rahul Gandhi stayed in village Jidana for about 35 minutes and had breakfast.
