Aurangabad : In the budget presented by the country’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1 in the budget session of Parliament, an attempt has been made to give equal justice to all sectors. Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad made this claim in a press conference held on Sunday evening.

He informed that a total estimated budget of Rs 45.03 crore has been presented by the Central Government for the financial year 2023-24. In which the capital expenditure is Rs 10 lakh crore. In particular, a provision of 1 lakh 20 thousand crores has been made in the budget by the central government to help all the states. In this, efforts will be made by the Ministry of Finance to distribute equal funds without discriminating against any state. This amount will be provided to the states without charging interest for the next 50 years. So that, the development of the country gets momentum in a short time. Dr Karad claimed that the Budget 2023-24 reflects the continued strong commitment of the Union Government to promote economic growth by investing in infrastructure development. The effective capital expenditure in the budget estimate is 13.71 crore, which is 30.1 percent more than the budget presented in the revised estimate last year. In the budget, efforts were made by the central government to provide maximum relief to the middle class families of the country. Along with this, provision of a large amount was made in the budget to provide relief to the poor, farmers, traders and industrialists on a large scale.

India’s economic condition is better despite two serious crashes

Globally, in the last three years, all countries faced two serious crashes, the Corona epidemic and the Russia-Ukraine war. Due to which the economic situation at the world level has shaken. India’s economic growth rate is estimated to be 7 percent despite the global slowdown in the last three years. Because of this, India’s economic position has remained at number 5 in the world in the last 8 years. Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Karad said that the Modi government is making efforts that by 2026, our country should reach the third position globally after America and China in a better economic condition. In response to a question, Dr. Karad said that by focusing on special targets on 7 sectors necessary for the country, provision of maximum funds has been made for them in the budget. Those sectors have been named Saptarishi. According to Dr. Karad, during the period of the Corona epidemic, financial assistance was provided to the workers, farmers, workers and entrepreneurs by declaring a package of Rs 21 lakh crore under the Self-Reliant India Scheme by the central Modi government. Due to which the economic cycle of our country was better than other countries of the world. The special thing is that the recovery in our country was also better.

In response to a question, Union Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Karad told that recently Maha Metro has submitted a DPR of Rs. has been introduced. I have ordered the municipal administration to present this DPR to the state government and reach the center soon. After that a flyover bridge and Neo Metro will be started from Shendra to Waluj by making available the necessary funds for this project. Responding to him whether the cantonment area would be a hindrance for this project, Dr. Karad said that there would be no hindrance in it as I am a minister at the Centre. I myself will meet the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and find a solution to the problem coming from the Cantonment Board to get the necessary land for the flyover bridge and neo metros.

Maharashtra has the highest number of roads after UP for the construction of roads.

In the end, Dr. Karad said that in the budget of the Center, the maximum provision has been made for Maharashtra after UP for the construction of roads. Due to Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari being from Maharashtra, more priority has been given to the construction of roads in the budget. In the budget, informed about provision of 13 thousand 539 crores for the development of railway sector in Maharashtra. In this, 1685 crore rupees will be spent mainly for laying new railway line of Maharashtra. BJP State General Secretary Sanjay Kanekar, City President Shirish Boralkar, former Mayor Bapu Ghadamode were present in the press conference.
