chandrapur, Edible oil tanker going from Telangana to Chhattisgarh overturned near Devada village of Asifabad Rajura highway. After this incident, the nearby villagers fiercely looted the edible oil. On getting the information, the police reached the spot and controlled the crowd and made the traffic smooth. This incident happened on Saturday morning at 11.30 am.
According to the information received, tanker no. T.S. 07 was going towards Chhattisgarh by filling 12 to 15 thousand liters of edible oil in UL 5067. As soon as it reached the RTO check post near Devada, while trying to save a four-wheeler, the oil-filled tanker collided with a tree and overturned. Due to the accident of the tanker, oil started seeping from it, seeing which the villagers started filling oil. The tanker driver and carrier received minor injuries in the accident.
On getting information about the incident, Police Station Inspector API Jayaprakash Nirmal of Virur Police Station along with his team reached the spot. Where he controlled the road and put soil on the oil spilled on the road and made the road smooth for traffic.
