Joint Police Commissioner Anand Prakash Tiwari said that now the police will once again file an application in the court on Monday for remand. A 14-day remand will be sought against Rizwan by presenting strong evidence of his involvement in anti-national activities in front of the court, after which the security agencies can once again interrogate Dr. Rizwan during the remand.
In fact, the police had sought a 14-day remand from the court for interrogating Dr. Rizwan, a Bangladeshi national caught from Moolganj, citing a threat to national security, but could not present the evidence of the allegation against the Bangladeshi.
