An uncontrolled vehicle of Ballia’s Fafna police station rammed into a roadside hut at Sinhachavar Chatti on Sunday night. In this, three people including the innocent sleeping in the hut were seriously injured. Inspector-in-charge Gadwar Rajkumar Singh, who reached the spot after information, rushed all the injured to the district hospital in a hurry in his car. Police of several police stations including Additional SP reached the spot. The villagers present there were agitated after a bottle of liquor was found in the vehicle. He said that the policemen were intoxicated with alcohol.

Digvijay Ram, a resident of Kapuri of Fafna police station area, works for making punctures on the side of the road at Sinhachavar Chatti of Gadwar police station area. His whole family was sleeping in a roadside hut. Meanwhile, the police vehicle of Phephna police station lost control and entered his hut. In this Digvijay Ram (28) son Umashankar Ram, Chanda Devi (24) wife Digvijay Ram and Rishabh (3) were seriously injured. After information, the Gadwar police reached the spot and took the injured to the district hospital in their vehicle. On the other hand, people got agitated after seeing liquor bottles in the accident-hit vehicle. His allegation was that the policemen were driving under the influence of alcohol. Policemen Alok Singh, Dhirendra Singh, Umashankar who were in the vehicle also got injuries. Seeing the delicateness of the occasion, the policemen left from there. The force of many police stations including Additional SP reached there. After much effort, the villagers were pacified.
