In Chaturpur Madhaipatti village of Azamgarh district, the barge of a person’s house collapsed and fell at 7 pm on Saturday. In this accident, a child playing under the barge died after being buried under the debris, while two others were injured. Police sent the dead child’s body for postmortem.
Terahi Bhoj was organized on Saturday at the house of Ramnaumi, a resident of Chaturpur Madhaipatti village of Atraulia police station area. People gathered outside the house. Meanwhile, three children of the village were playing outside the house of Khurchun Rajbhar, a neighbor of Ramnoumi. Around seven o’clock, the barge of Khurchun’s house suddenly collapsed and three playing children Anish (8) son Ravindra, Sachin (10) son Sanjay and Kishan (9) son Arvind were buried under the debris.
People immediately removed the debris and took the three children to the hospital for treatment. Where doctors declared Anish dead after investigation. The same treatment is going on for Sachin and Kishan. The police reached the information and sent the dead body of Anish for postmortem. The incident created hue and cry in the village and the family members of the deceased child.
