Chaotic elements broke the statues of Kali and Dih

The idols of Kali-Dih located in Asona village of Jahanaganj police station area in Azamgarh were vandalized by chaotic elements on Saturday night. The villagers got agitated as soon as they came to know about the breaking of the statue. On information, Jahanaganj police station reached the spot. On the complaint of the villagers, the police took a young man into custody and brought him to the police station.
The idols of Maa Kali and Dih Baba are installed in Asona village. Who remained the center of religious faith of the villagers. The people of the village reach here and offer prayers. When the villagers woke up on Sunday morning, they got angry seeing both the statues damaged. A large number of villagers gathered on the spot and started protesting. On the information of the villagers, the police reached the spot. On the basis of suspicion and allegations of the villagers, the police took Gyanendra Singh of the village in custody and came to the police station and is engaged in the process of questioning. SO Vinay Kumar Singh said that the matter is of playing with religious sentiments. On the basis of suspicion, a person is being interrogated by taking him into custody. Tahrir has not been received yet. Strict action will be taken against the guilty after receiving the Tahrir and completion of the investigation.
