A major accident took place near Haminpur village on Purvanchal Expressway in Azamgarh late on Monday evening. The car going from Bihar to Delhi overturned in the ditch trying to save the dead dog. Mother and son died in the accident. Four people were injured. Treatment of the injured is going on.
Rauf Alam, a resident of Vaishali district of Bihar, lives in Delhi with his family. Came home with family a few days ago. On Monday, Rauf (50) son Mohd. Hamid is survived by his wife Shahana Parveen (45), son Mohd. Anas (15), Mohd. Asad was going to Delhi by car with 14 and daughter Amiya Parveen (16).
Imran (43), a resident of Sangam Vihar Delhi, was driving the car. The car went out of control while trying to save a dead dog on the road near Haminpur village of Powai police station on Purvanchal Expressway. Due to the high speed, breaking the railing, overturned in the ditch. In the accident, Mr. Anas and Shahana Parveen died on the spot.
While Rauf Alam, Mohd. Asad, Amiya Parveen and Mohd. Imran got injured. Powai police reached the information and immediately sent the injured to the hospital. From where he was referred to the district hospital. At the same time, the bodies of the dead were sent for post-mortem.
