According to the information, about 200 people allegedly from the Muslim community stormed here suddenly. The crowd came to the temple premises shouting slogans of Allahu Akbar. People also allegedly tried to attack the people present in the temple. Police reached the spot and took control of the situation. One person tweeted the video of the incident and wrote, ‘First Leicester, now Smethwick. where next? Around 200 people marched towards Durga Bhavan Hindu Centre. This is clearly intimidating to the local Hindus. Security agencies need to crack down on these anti-Hindu thugs.
