Nagpur. About 30,400 posts will be recruited in Anganwadis. At the same time, it has been made mandatory to pass 12th instead of 10th for the post of servant. The authority to make the final selection of assistants and maids has been given to the child development project officers of Tehsil. The recruitment process will start within a week. Anganwadi is run in every village with the aim of creating interest towards school, recognition of alphabets and numbers among the children of one to six years. There are 1 lakh 10 thousand Anganwadis in the state. There is also a proposal to start some more Anganwadis, but a large number of posts are vacant in these Anganwadis.
The state government approved the post recruitment on 9th January. While according to the new guidelines of the Central Government, the educational eligibility of the maids was passed 12th instead of 10th. Government decision has been prepared in this regard. After its final approval, the recruitment will start immediately. It is believed that the recruitment process will start by next week. Interested candidates will be able to apply in Tehsil Bal Vikas Prakalp Office. After scrutiny of the applications, the eligible candidates will be selected.

Before this, assistants will be promoted as servants. A list has been prepared in this regard. The posts of 120 Anganwadi workers and 229 assistants are vacant in the district. There are 2,423 Anganwadis in the district under the Integrated Child Development Office. Of these, 2,131 big and 262 mini Anganwadis need to have a population of 800 to 1,000. Anganwadi maids and assistants are appointed in the villages to take care of children, but in the district, 113 posts of maids in big Anganwadis and 7 posts of maids in mini Anganwadis are vacant.
At the same time, 229 posts of assistant are vacant. At present there are a total of 2,423 Anganwadis in the district, but after the survey conducted last days, the need for 172 new Anganwadis was felt. A proposal in this regard has been prepared and sent to the state government for approval. This information has been received from the Zip Women and Child Welfare Department.
