People attacked the Didoli police who had reached Amroha’s Joya to mediate the dispute between the two parties. Stones were pelted at the police. In the case, the police have registered a case against 26 people including eight named. Police is raiding to arrest the accused.
On Saturday night at around 2 o’clock, outside the Shama Hotel located at Sambhal intersection in Didoli Kotwali area, there was fierce fighting between the two sides. pelted stones at each other. As soon as the information was received, Joya Chowki Incharge Lavlish Kumar along with his assistant constables Atul Kumar, Rajveer Singh reached the spot.
The policemen tried to pacify both the fighting parties. Only then people from both the sides clashed with the policemen. Attacked with sticks. Also pelted stones at the police. During this, the policemen saved their lives by running away from the spot. After informing the control room, the force of several police stations was called on the spot. After which the police chased the rioters with sticks.
The incident created an atmosphere of panic. CO City Vijay Kumar Rana said that Affan, resident of Zoya’s Mohalla Kheda, Mohalla Chowkdaran resident Aqib, Babbu, Aamir, Atamul, and 8 unknown and other party’s residents of Haryana village Ajdani, Shahshah, in the case of murderous attack on the police. FIR has been registered against Azam Waris and 10 unknowns. Soon the accused will be arrested.
